I’m Jacquelyn!

Hi there! I am a homeschooling mom of four kids, and two have graduated. I’ve homeschooled for 17 years and still going strong! Before that, I studied Early Childhood Education in college and worked in several preschools.

I have and still am homeschooling my 4 children. Two have graduated (they homeschooled all the way from preschool!) and one of those is about to graduate from college. I’m still homeschooling my younger two…..5th grade and Kindergarten!

So why the name “Faithfully Teaching at Home”? I use the word “Faithfully” to show that I am a Christian. My husband is a pastor, so faith plays a large role in our family life and homeschooling. And “Teaching at Home” is obviously in reference to homeschooling.

Why did I start this website? I’ve had so many people during my 18 years of homeschooling come to me and ask my advice on how to get started homeschooling or what curriculum to use. So I decided to use my years of knowledge, mistakes, failures, highs and lows, and wins to help even more people.

It’s been so much fun learning about designing websites and how to use PowerPoint and hosting and domains….the list goes on! I’ve found an affinity for all of this which is funny since I barely knew how to turn on a computer before this (truth!).

Overall, my goal is to help homeschooling families navigate this journey of educating their children! Everyone’s journey is unique….let me help you find the confidence and know-how to enjoy this life-changing journey!
